LAUREN MANATT

Lauren was born and raised in Sheridan, Arkansas. She attended the U of A in Fayetteville for her undergraduate degree and juris doctorate, before returning to central Arkansas in 2011.  

Lauren worked for an insurance defense law firm for the first two years of practice, before heading to Rainwater, Holt, & Sexton, where she practiced for over 10 years. While with Rainwater, Holt, and Sexton, Lauren practiced social security disability and personal injury law. In late 2023, Lauren decided it was time to return to her hometown in Sheridan and serve the community that made her who she is today.  

Lauren learned the value of hard work and determination at an early age. 

 “I loved sports. My participation in team sports taught me the value of discipline, accountability, and perseverance. My actions, whether good or bad, directly impacted others. If I made a mistake, my team suffered. This is true in life. My actions impact my family, my co-workers, and my clients. I refuse to be the one not pulling my weight and doing my part. This drives me to be effective.” 

She loves being an attorney because of the people. “I truly enjoy getting to know my clients, learning their story, hearing about their family. Arkansas is full of genuine, hardworking people with great stories—You just have to take the time to listen. It is crucial as an attorney to be a good listener.” 

Lauren fights for her clients with compassion, determination, and integrity. She uses her skill and expertise to get the results clients deserve and she does that while treating everyone with respect and dignity.  

In her free time, Lauren loves spending time with her husband, Craig, and three children. Lauren enjoys running, reading, and exploring the great state of Arkansas. Lauren is actively involved in her church, serving on Church Council.
